I work primarily in and around the Texas Capitol, most recently as Associate Counsel for the Texas Association of Realtors for legislative and regulatory affairs. At TAR, I track regulatory changes around Texas and the U.S. that affect the real estate market and laws in Texas. I am also primarily responsible for legislative tracking and bill writing for the Association during legislative sessions. I will testify in front of House and Senate Committees as an expert on ethics and real estate laws, and I spend roughly 20% of my week discussing the finer points of contract and real estate law with REALTORS around the state on our legal hotline so that they can better assist their clients.
