Deep Eddy Vodka
Clayton Christopher is the Co-Founder of Deep Eddy Vodka, the first flavored vodka in Texas, and the only sweet tea vodka on the market that uses all natural ingredients. He is also the Chairman, Founder, and former CEO of Sweet Leaf Beverage Company, which he started in 1998 with $10,000 in savings and a recipe from his grandmother. Clayton has led Sweet Leaf through four rounds of funding totaling $40M, the latest round coming from Nestle with a call option to buy the company for $185M. Clayton is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and was the winner of the 2006 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award of Central Texas. He is an active member of the community speaking regularly at universities and serves on the board of directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas. Clayton was recently named the 2010 Austin Under 40 Austinite of the Year Award and Entrepreneur of the Year.
